To capture the essence of the delusion AI can evoke, I collaged detail shots of the model's face back together in a peculiar way to convey delusion. I created the final images in Photoshop
Love:
These two images are meant to convey a sense of emotional connection to a chatbot. From my bias, I would assume it to be rewarding at times but also frustrating to be in love with a screen and to rely on that for emotional connection.
Loneliness:
In a world filled with vibrant, real human connection, more people are turning to AI for everything from advice to companionship. This image is meant to illustrate what can be lost when AI begins to replace our relationships. The more we disconnect from one another, the more the people around us can begin to fade into ghosts.
